THE BLUE CITY, JODHPUR
At the edge of the Thar Desert, in India, the Blue City of Jodhpur circles around the 15th century Mehrangarh Fort, providing sanctuary from sand, wind, and the searing desert heat.
The blue houses of Jodhpur -indigo, cobalt, azure, lapis create a mosaic that blends together in an echo of the
vast Rajasthani sky, or perhaps in a dream of rare and precious rain.
The reasons for this passion are lost in history, but the city and all its residents radiate truly blue-blooded courtesy and charm.
